Doctor Who (8th regeneration)

Doctor Who

Eighth Regeneration

Power Level:
Game system: DC Heroes Role-Playing Game

Context

This writeup is part of a cluster of three *old* (perhaps even ancient) Doctor Who writeups, which we never got around to rewriting. However, those old things seem to be pretty popular, and I’ve finally decided to keep them in publication.

Personality

The Doctor is a meddling dogooder who travels the universe who pops in and out of time (mainly earth), he is compassionate and has only killed in the most serious of cases and hates himself when he does. The Doctor is very much the English Gentleman and behaves himself as such.

History

Streching from the creation of the Universe to billions of years in the future the Doctor travels the universe, his current incarnation came about when the TARDIS landed in San Francisco on December 30th 1999 and the seventh Doctor was shot by Chinese gang members and died in hospital (confusing the surgeons as his heart was on the wrong side of the body), he regenerated and recovered to thwart the plans of the Master (his archest enemy, trust me he has several).

He galavants around the place with Sam in tow a young activist from London in 1996 (he has a companion in all his travels).

Late in the 21st century the Daleks invade Earth and take over but are thrown off by humanity.

Quotes

“Exterminate, exterminate…”

“Jelly baby ?”

DC Universe History

The Doctor could appear anywhere accompanied by the wheezing Tardis sound and walk out on anyone anywhere.

The Dalek wars could be apart of the lost period in History to LSH or he could appear for Superman Primes coming out in DC 1,000,000. He could track Vandal Savage, thwarting him through time.
