Context

Villains & Vigilantes is an early (1979) pen-and-paper super-hero super-hero role playing game. We have a fairly large selection of characters from that game, with DCH stats.

They’re here in no small part due to nostalgia. But they also are interesting stock characters in that they can be easily inserted into stories, conveniently filling their niche.

  • Known Relatives: None.

Powers and Abilities

Due to the psychic testing, Dreamweaver has the abillity to cast illusions and become invisible. She can also lift a small amount with the power of her mind.

History

Donna Weston was a college student participating in deep sleep research as a volunteer when she was propelled into the dream dimension and the electronic monitoring system had a power surge. Lost, she aroused the anger of her own dreams and was attacked by them.

By remaining passive, she was able to absorb the dream energy into herself. When awakened, she soon discovered herself to be changed. She had the ability to become unseen and to move objects about with only thought. Her mind could create images of dream impressions or practically anything else at will.

Using her abilities to save her best friend when she was attacked by a mugger, she realized that her powers should be used to help all other people. She became Dreamweaver, keeping her identity secret and hidden. Only she and psych major Lynda Turner know who Dreamweaver really is.

Description

Dreamweaver wears a full costume with only her hair out of it.

Personality

Donna is a very private person and keeps to herself most of the time. She trusts her teammates, but not too many beyond that.

DC Universe History

Dreamweaver could have easily been given powers by Morpheus himself.Or should could’ve made an enemy of Dr. Destiny.
