Number Six

“Are you alive ?”

(To a baby she later kills) “There, there. It’s okay. You’re not going to have to cry much longer.”

(Number Six has just informed Baltar that she has used the access he has given her to the Defense Mainframe in order to commit espionage)
Baltar: “I had nothing to do with this. You know I had nothing to do with this.”
Number Six: “You have an amazing capacity for self-deception. How do you do that ?”

Powers and Abilities

Number 6 (Prime) is a smoking hot blond babe with strength, speed and durability in the peak human range. She is brilliant and manipulative with huge volumes of data storage with which to feed her machinations.

The Number 6 (Prime) has access to an implant technology (referred erroneously to as a chip) in the brain of an unwilling recipient. The Chip can be used to cause full sensory illusions, possibly even into a powerful mind such as Dr. Gaius Baltar ; she can appear to chip-equipped persons as a phantasm (Mental illusion), and communicate with them in this way.

If Number 6 (Prime), or any Number 6 is killed and they are within a few light years of a resurrection ship or a Cylon home world they will be reincarnated if it suits the super-consciousness and the needs of the Cylon nation.

All Cylon models, Including Number 6, have a weakness to an unspecified frequency of energy that is found naturally occurring in the Rangar systems. While in a system where this energy is radiant, or exposed to it directly, the Cylon loses the ability to transfer consciousness and grows ill and eventually dies.

History

Number 6 was instrumental in the fall of humanity and the nuclear destruction of 95% of the race. She used her feminine whiles to get into Dr. Gaius Baltar’s defense plans and short circuit them in time for a full on assault by the Cylon fleet. The original Number 6 was killed in the nuclear destruction of the colonies. Her phantasm was grafted into the brain of Gaius Baltar. She spent several years by proxy manipulating Baltar and the fleet through him. Number 6 has a hidden religious agenda that is complicated and involved with a centuries-old prophecy about the founding of the colonies and the location of Earth.

Description

Number 6 is a tall blond beautiful woman who oozes sexuality. While in phantasm form she changes clothes to what is the most alluring at a thought.

Personality

Number 6 is the Cylon’s face in the Galactica series. She is manipulative and cold with a complex secret agenda. She is not above any variety of manipulation to achieve her ends.

Number 6 has a religious agenda she is pushing. Everything that she does goes back to the worship the Cylons have of their view of God. Everything is about the manipulation of the human race, what’s left of it, into the Cylon vision. If she has any weakness at all it is that she is predictable in her one-track vision.

Number 6 is functionally indestructible in a practical sense of the word. It would take a catastrophe on a cosmic scale to get all the copies of her and the theoretical factory that builds them. Number 6 also has access to the entire body of knowledge of the Cylon race available to her ; this only adds to her arrogance.

Generic Number 6 Cylons
There are many Number 6 Cylons, potentially billions. Each when decanted has access to the knowledge of all the Number 6s but it does not update as time goes by. When a number 6 is decanted she can have any conceivable skill at her Link (L) attribute level. Although capable of defending themselves the Number 6 is designed to be an infiltrator and won’t tend to have extensive combat skills. This is possible however as the Cylons could do anything to advance their religious agenda.

The Sharon model has shown the ability to interface with computers and read binary for meaningful data. With a fiber connection jammed into a cut in her hand she proved to be able to write viral code with blinding speed. The Number 6 model may be capable of this as well but it has not been demonstrated as of yet.

DC Universe History

Battlestar Galactica is a self contained story and the characters should only be used together. It could be interesting to have a guns-and-planes character visit the Galactica Universe.

Alternately you could have the Galactica arrive at Earth with the Cylons in pursuit, bringing their war to the DCU’s doorstep. Or worse, maybe the Cylons have arrived ahead of Galactica and begun infiltrating Earth’s population. The robotic Manhunters were revealed as having done something similar in the Millennium mini-series.
