Jamadagni “Jama” Renuka was born with a genetic quirk allowing her to alter reality using the force of her will. After training with her mentor, she learned to generate any magical effect from any theological or mythical system of belief regardless of how blatantly improbable it may be.

Her major is in Terramythology, her co-major in Comparative Religion.

History

Little has been shown of Jama’s background. At some point her powers manifested and she studied under a wizard to learn to control her powers. She eventually came to Saraswati to study further and had a past relationship with Alec.

She gathered this version of the Titans when she foresaw a great cataclysm. She gathered the group together trying to recreate the “Titans” mythical archetype (“a female mage, a masked fighting man, a weepy cyborg, and an energy-flinging alien”) to prevent the cataclysm from happening.

Description

Jama has green eyes and long dark brown hair which she usually wears in a top knot. Her skin tone is dark in color and her general appearance hints that she might be of Indian heritage. In addition she has a tattoo on her forehead which constantly shifts into random astrological and mystical characters.

Casually, Jama prefers to wear low cut clothes which leave much of her chest, back, shoulders, and legs exposed. She also prefers to go barefoot.

Her costume consists of her grey space suit with blue and orange motifs and yellow and black shoulder pieces, blue gloves, and no helmet.

Personality

Jama is very straightforward and does not believe in being anything less than direct. She is very determined once she decides that she wants something and will pursue it relentlessly. She is also a showoff and enjoys using her powers, especially to know things which are unknown to others and dislikes those who know more than her.

Despite her own abilities she still beliefs that most magical beliefs are “badnano” (bullshit).

In many ways, Jama can be summed up as the child who enjoys playing with her toys and getting what she wants.
