Radioactive Kra V0.1

By Sean MacDonald

Source of Character: Amalgam Universe, in particular the letters page of Challengers of the Fantastic #1

Reasons: By lack of popular demand, I’ve decided to continue writing up the League of Challenger-Haters/Masters of Evil amalgam, called the Challenger Haters of Evil, and mentioned only in the letters page of Challengers of the Fantastic #1.

Writeups.org & Amazon.com recommend Collected Amalgam Comics

History

Kra was a robot scientist studying radiation on Redbot Planet, a planet of communist robots.  He discovered how to harness the power of radiation to give him vast superhuman, er, super robotic powers.  The leaders of Redbot Planet decided to see if these powers could be used to conquer Earth.  To test this possibility, they kidnapped four seemingly average humans against which Kra’s power was put to the test.  However, these humans were the Challengers of the Fantastic, who soon discovered Kra’s weaknesses and defeated him.  After Kra’s defeat, they were allowed to return home.

Kra, however, was disgraced.  He was exiled to planet Earth, with the proviso that if he ever manages to defeat these four humans, he may return home.  However, his plans involve conquering both Earth and Redbot Planet, while also vanquishing his hated foes, the ChallFants.

Description

He’s an ten-foot tall, green, glowing robot.
