Powers and Abilities

Headhunter is a highly skilled fighter and special agent. He can trigger or negate super-powers around him. This is mostly used to power up and down his personal cadre of superpowered special agents, the Entourage.

However, he also always use his Neutralize power on any potential threat – this is a drill, a taught reflex. This is a vicious attack, as the target does not feel it at all – and thus will be very surprised when attempting to use their powers. Likewise, Headhunter does not feel anything special when he Neutralizes somebody.


History

Headhunter conduct various, often illegal missions for the US intelligence community, generally on domestic soil. At one point, he entered Arcadia to recover a rogue Entourage member (who had somehow kept her Powers but was attempting to live a normal life), Hothouse Rose. They had a chance encounter with X, and sent him to a hospital.

X didn’t stay there for long, however, as his recuperative abilities started working again when he left headhunter’s presence – and in the end X cut a deal with Headhunter for One-shot’s life (the one who had shot him) and killed Hothouse Rose, who had killed while on X’s turf.

Personality

Headhunter is a strict, by-the-book spook and badge-carrying executioner. He has all the charm and moral flexibility of a drill sergeant, and absolutely no pity for anyone, including inefficient members of his Entourage, necessary collateral targets, and so on.

His motto is almost certainly “the ends justify the means”, and he never questions the order of his superior. He undergoes his missions with strict discipline, and demands no less of his subordinates.
