Context

This character is an original creation. We often call these “homemades” or “homebrewed” – think home cooking or craft beer.

Powers and Abilities

If you judge by appearance, you’ll be lost when you meet Power. Under the looks of a normal human girl lays one of the most powerful members of the Council of the 10. She is by far the most dexterous of the team, and the strongest (except when Crusher is “compressed”), not to say the most impervious to damage. Power is also faster than a speeding bullet, and her reflexes answer with the same speed.

But what makes Kurdal s’Grat really special is her control over the cosmic power, what she calls “the threads of the universe. She can cross time and space at a limited but impressive range, heal and be healed, project powerful bolts of stellar energy and even twist the own fabric of reality by altering the atomic array of an item. Between the few ones that dare to whisper it, it’s told that she can be the daughter of own Darkseid.

It seems these rumours are unfounded, as in her planet men were soldiers and women ranked soldiers. They made the blunt, dirty job, and women thought the strategy. That background shows in her good military training and an innate instinct that tells her when an opponent is dead and when not, and for how long.


History

Kurdal s’Grat is a name little known of. In the space, the being with that name is Power. Just Power. Complete and raw Power.

Three years ago, Kurdal fight a bunch of planets until it was clear that she was going to be defeated, despite all of his power, due to their combined armadas. The powers in her needed more time to develop to a full scale, but she was so power hungry that searched for a group of aliens capable of helping them in the building of an empire.

To that extent she searched along the galaxy, until she found the mystic Sorcerer (now Number 9 of the Council), who used his powers to guide her and himself towards the wanted people. They landed on Planet Z.

The going to born Council knew of some powerful alliances that had failed because its members began to betray each other. The whole Council agreed that perhaps when they were richer or had more power that problem would appear. So, they found an answer to their problem: they bound together in a Loyalty Promise (see Irrational Attraction of each member): Power agreed to be the corner stone of the spell (and so being the most loyal to the team), and in exchange got a boost in power.


Description

An earthling would be really wrong when judging Kurdal by her looks, as she looks like a pretty young girl in her late twenties, with a slightly toned body, but not much more than an artistic gymnast or a skater. That body hides a huge strength and a ravaging speed that doesn’t let her opponents to think it for a second time. She wears a modified version of the usual dark grey Council suit, without sleeves nor trousers, like a gymnast’s suit.


Personality

Unlike most of the members of the Council of the 10, Kurdal does not like to work for others, but the opposite way. She is a ruler, a leader, an owner. She doesn’t fight for being richer, but for having a wider empire: it’s OK for her not to look like the leader as long as the REAL power is at her hands.

Power is quite wise when using her power and uses different tactics with it, both attacking, healing the team, regenerating, teleporting blasting enemies so they attack their mates or even traveling some seconds to the future and back to know what’s going to do the enemy.

This has made wonder the other members of the Council is she’s really as young as she looks to be, but the age of Kurdal s’Grat, as long as her birth planet, home to the warrior race she is so proud to be a member of, remains in mystery.
