Context

This is the version of Superboy from his appearance during the Reign of the Supermen story arc (1993, after the Death of Superman) up until Graduation Day story arc (2003).

Powers and Abilities

Though Cadmus was not able to completely unravel the Kryptonian Genome, Superboy was given telekinetic powers to closely mimic Superman’s.

His “tactile telekinesis” allows him super-strength, flight and a skin-tight aura that protects him from physical harm (though it cannot protect him from energy attacks). By touching objects that are touching other objects, he can manipulate those objects from a distance.

He can also extend his protective aura around others via tactile telekinesis, but at the cost of giving up his own protection. He can also use it to explosively dismantle objects as well.

Superboy is also vulnerable to Kryptonite, in much the same way as Superman is.


Description

A boy of 16, Superboy has black hair which he wears medium length on the top and buzzed on the sides. He has blue eyes (which are almost always hidden behind sunglasses) and wears a blue and red Superman-style costume with an S-shield on the front.

He wears red gloves and black boots, and is almost always wearing a black leather jacket with an all yellow S-shield stiched on the back.

Personality

Brash, bold and impulsive, Superboy is a typical teenage boy. He enjoys having fun (especially with girls), and has a rather high opinion of himself. When the chips are down, however, Superboy is on task, fiercely loyal to his friends and always tries to do the right thing.
