Powers & Abilities
When working with the Challengers as a team, Acrobat distracts opponents and draws fire. In combat he’s quick with his wits and reflexes. A fight has a flow to it and the Acrobat is much attuned to it.
He suppressed his abilities when playing professional basketball or he would have completely dominate his competition. Because of this, the Acrobat’s professional statistics never measured up to his true potential. Still he has made millions and eventually retired from basketball when he joined the Challengers. He is obviously quite wealthy.
History
Charles spent a four year stint with the Army, then College.
More recently, he became a local college coach in Siouxburg after leaving the NBA. Siouxburg is a fictional city with a population of just over 300,000. It’s located somewhere in the Midwest near a river.
The Acrobat learned of the Challengers through Blitzkrieg who asked him to attend others in a “first meeting” of sorts. The Acrobat came to assess and consider if teaming with other heroes would be prudent. The meeting consisted of a bunch of kids who were independent and undisciplined other than Blitzkrieg.
After an attack on the team by a local criminal presence that escalated into much more. Acrobat decided the Challengers needed him if only to keep from getting themselves killed.

Description
All white suit except for a black A on the chest. He’s a tall thin, black man in a black and white body suit. He had shown up fighting crimes in several different cities. He has a deep baritone voice.
His original costume was a white T-shirt with a big black “A” on it with white shorts and then of course white gloves and white boots.
Personality
When you’ve been the best at something for so long it’s hard to believe you’ll fail. The Acrobat therefore is a little over-confident in his abilities. He’s serious minded and doesn’t joke around much.
Acrobat has had several disagreements with Acid. He has become somewhat of a second leader when necessary and a trusted advisor to Blitzkrieg as well.
It took a lot of self-control and willpower for him to use his powers to play basketball in the pros and yet not show that he had superpowers. He did feel some guilt about this but he grew up poor and wanted to take care of his family. After five years he faked a career ending injury and started fighting crime.

Acid: (With his arms folded across his chest glared up and down at the huge man.) “Really? So why aren’t you a millionaire in the NBA ?”
Acrobat: “How do you know I’m not ?” (Acrobat smirked behind his white mask and studied Acid’s face.) “And another thing, that’s a racist assumption. You don’t know that I even like basketball.”
(Acid narrowed his eyes, scowled, and looked away.)
“I’ll draw their attention !”
