Powers and Abilities
The Bamboo monkey is one of the masters of the Brotherhood of the Monkey Fist, a martial arts cult. As the master of the bamboo style (an acrobatic, external kung fu) he proved able to out-fu Nightwing.
However, he then was promptly defeated by Green Arrow (Connor Hawke).
History
The Brotherhood of the Monkey Fist is a cult. They display a fanatical devotion to the improvement of martial arts and their own fighting skills.
Furthermore, they seldom hesitate to use criminal means and deadly force to fund and advance themselves.
Unsurprisingly, they have clashed in the past with various martial arts masters in the DCU.
The Bamboo Monkey tracked down and challenged Green Arrow (Connor Hawke). Hawke had previously defeated the champion of the Brotherhood, the Silver Monkey. Despite his considerable skill, the Bamboo Monkey quickly lost.
