Big Dome
Context
During the 1970s, confectioner and cakes maker Hostess advertised in major comic books. The advertisements were full-page comics starring Marvel and DC Comics characters (and Hostess products).
These comics were nonsensical and a parody of the most absurd aspects of Silver Age comics. They’re still fondly remembered for their goofiness.

History
He appeared in Superman in “An Unbeatable Power” which appeared in The Brave and the Bold #146.
Superman is being held motionless by Big Dome’s kryptonite ray. Two kids happen by and notice what’s happening.
They toss some Twinkies at Big Dome, who can’t help but eat them. Superman is thereby released, and he quickly ties up Big Dome. “Twinkies Cakes have a power all their own,” comments Big Dome on his way to jail.
Description
He is bald on top, with black hair on the back of his head which also forms a beard without a moustache. His skin is purple and spotty. His head is quite large.
He wears a black shirt with pink and white stripes. He also wears black shorts over purple tights. He has no shoes.
