CADRE Light Cyborg

Power Level:
Game system: DC Heroes Role-Playing Game

Context

This character is an original creation. We often call these “homemades” or “homebrewed” – think home cooking or craft beer.

Many of these characters were created to take part in tabletop role-playing game sessions. Others were invented as a creative writing exercise, often as part of a community event.

This specific type pf character was part of a RPG campaign run by writeups.org contributor Bil.

Powers and Abilities

C.A.D.R.E. Light Borgs are faster, more human-sized borgs. They have lower strength and durability than the heavy borgs, with a commensurate increase in speed and agility. Their muscular nerves are replaced with fiber-optics, and additional artificial muscle fibers are interlaced with their existing muscles.

Their skin is also laced with kevlar and carbon epoxies, and their bones are laced with epoxy resins.

As with the heavy borgs, they have powerful energy cannons of various types. But these are smaller, and usually concealed in the left or right arm.

They are also extremely well trained, with downloaded skill with various weaponry, including their onboard cannon.

History

See the Earthshaker profile for the history of C.A.D.R.E..

Description

The light, fast ’borgs used as recon troops, or fast attack. Unlike the heavy ’borgs, they are human sized, and, with clothing and gloves, can pass for human easily.

Again, Cyborg might not like these guys.
