Powers and Abilities
On mental command, strongman Dennis Williams can instantly grow a thick metallic-grey ablative shell all over his body. This highly resistant substance also emerges within his muscle fibre, giving him superhuman strength and speed.
Also, he can ’grow‘ simple shapes – like holsters and blades.
Without his powers, Williams is also a SEAL soldier who graduated with honours, with the tactical skills to back the title.
History
Dennis Williams was a Navy SEAL. He had recently graduated Officer Candidate School from Annapolis with honours – not bad for someone who would have been referred to as ’trailer trash‘ in his formative years.
However his mutant power manifested, and his security clearance was revoked indefinitely, effectively killing his career. Disillusioned, Williams bitterly resigned. After a few months of mercenary work, was recruited by Toxis into the Inquisitors.
Personality
Williams is the field leader of the Inquisitors, trained, experienced, and totally committed to the cause.
DC Universe History
Williams could be a mutant from Guy Gardner’s alien world, another victim of the silver coat that appeared on Superboy or a supporting cast character in Captain Atom adventures that suddenly acquired superpowers.
Steel could also be a good antagonist for him.
