Powers and Abilities

Dice is a surprisingly powerful, if whining, Skrull killer. The Skrull DNA mixed with his own has given him unpredictable but powerful abilities that allows him to defend defensively or offensively against any given threat.

Like with the rest of the Skrull Kill Krew he can see through the disguise of any Skrull and communicate via telepathy.

He doesn’t appear to have any superhuman physical abilities except the ability to form different weapons from his hands at will.

Dice also possesses some acrobatic prowess from his surfing days, has a driver’s license and is able at using weapons. Dice gives the impression of being a not-too-bright surfer guy, but he’s smarter than that. He carries the name of Dice being an unpredictable, but lucky guy.


History

Dice used to be an ordinary surfer on an American beach. But he was infected with the lethal brain eating alien virus which also gives him powers. Then he was recruited for the Skrull Kill Krew by Ryder and taught how to use his newfound abilities.

Although his girlfriend was killed by the Skrull Kill Krew he joined them upon being told his predicament and that his girlfriend had been a Skrull agent too. To this days he continues as a team member to hunt down Skrulls around the world.

Description

Rob Fortune is often clad in jeans, black boots, a red T-shirt and blue jacket. He also seems very fond of old hippie-like motives as he has lots of white circles on the shirt and sewed-on pieces of linen onto the jeans in different forms. The motives are often the signs of playing cards which nicely ties in with his call-sign Dice.

Dice is a thin, tall and slender man with brown hair and a brown goatee.


Personality

Rob is a cool surfer of life as well as water. He appears to be a guy who just floats around in existence. He uses words like cool, man, totally freaked, etc. a lot.

Often Rob is seen with a surprised or worried look on his face. Apparently he doesn’t really understand the situation he’s in. But he follows the team as he ain’t got anything better to do. He very easily follows a strong leader such as Ryder.

Together with the Skrull Kill Krew (especially Ryder and Moonstomp) he has developed quite a hatred of anything Skrull. In many cases he doubts the necessary cruelty of the teams actions, but other times seems to forget everything about it.

He definitely would prefer a normal life (full of wonderful normal stuff) to the one he’s currently living.

Well, Skrulls aren’t a big part of the DC Universe and considering they are all that is important for Dice (nowadays that is) you can’t just trough him in as is.

Either change his enemies into Durlans (some sort of tie-in with the Invasion is needed here), white martians (although they are too powerful to easily kill) or also insert the Skrulls into your DCHRPG campaign.

Bonuses and Limitations:

  • Defensive Adaption is also usable for offensive adaptation. He may develop powers such as Claws or Self Link-Bomb (has to activated by someone pulling his right arm) in combat situations.
  • Dice has no real control over Self-Manipulation and may not use it for much.
  • Defensive Adaption is completely unpredictable (i.e. Dice has no control over them) and sometimes gets weird Limitations with the adaptations.
  • Truesight may only be used for seeing through a Skrull’s disguise form.
  • Often uses Self-Manipulation to create a gun arm or drill with APs as full EV (+0).
  • While Defensive Adaption is active it sometimes produces the rotating signs of a one armed bandit on his forehead (+0).

Note:
Dice can eventually develop Thermal Vision, Invisibility, Teleport, Stretching, Shape Change and Regeneration like his teammate Ryder has done already.
