Powers and Abilities

Ever since he analyzed the scene of the battle against Doomgiver, Doctor Shiva has had enormous power over the very nature of reality.

He can rearrange matter and energy at his will, and accomplish nearly any feat he can imagine. There appears to be a definite limit to what he can do, however, and he can be beaten.

In addition to his powers, Doctor Shiva is one of the world’s greatest intellects. Only Springer rivals his inventive genius, and his scientific mastery crosses all boundaries.

The force of his personality can capture the attention of the entire world, and he is powerfully charismatic.

Lastly, he is one of the foremost experts on the occult in the world, although he has no mystical ability himself.

History

No one knows where Doctor Shiva came from, or what his ultimate goal is, besides power. He used completely legal means to become the absolute ruler of the South American country named Haven, in 1993. He has since used it as a base from which to launch all of his various plans.

Originally in an armored suit of his own design, he actually helped the heroes of Earth fight off Doomgiver. But he then used sensors in his suit to analyze the battle scene. By unknown means, he then replicated a portion of Doomgiver’s power into himself, becoming one of the most powerful individuals in the planet.

Description

This tall, armored figure is incredibly imposing, and one of the most powerful villains in the world. He has faced off against the Alliance, UNION, Power Core, and the like.

Personality

In the vein of such classic villains as Doctor Doom and Doctor Destroyer from Champions, here is a cosmic scale villain whose schemes are wheels-within wheels-within wheels. Just when you think you’ve foiled one of his plans, you realize that everything just played right into his hands. You never really can win against him.

DC Universe History

If he ever got the chance to meet Darkseid, he’d do his best to form a plan to steal his power – then his father(Yugha Khan)’s power, and access the Source. Who needs the Null-Life Equation, since that would only destroy what he seeks to conquer.

Oh, and Luthor would probably hate him.
