Powers and Abilities
The Empress is a genetically engineered killer. She is a master martial artist, with knowledge of how to kill over a hundred species.
She recently became the keeper of the Emerald Eye, and uses its powers as her own.
History
The Empress was created by the government of Venegar to be a living weapon against the Sun-Eater, and trained in all manner of combat. She turned on her government, citing political oppression. But the actual reason was her sociopathic streak that made her into a student of the art of murder.
The Venegarians imprisoned her. However, she was released from her prison by the Legion of Super-Heroes. She and the other Fatal Five were needed to combat the Sun-Eater as it approached the United Planets.
The Empress and her teammates fought the Legion, but she was eventually taken down by Andromeda. For all her deadly skills, the Empress just wasn’t prepared for a Daxamite.

In the aftermath of the battle, the Empress was interrogated by Kinetix concerning the whereabouts of the Emerald Eye. The Eye was a mystical artifact over which the residents of Venegar fought a civil war 200 years ago.
The Emerald Eye of Ekron freed the Empress from imprisonment on Takron Galtos and choose her as its host. Surprisingly, the Eye deigned to be completely submissive to the Empress, perhaps in an effort to lower its profile and avoid detection by Mordru.
The Eye reunited the Fatal Five (with the exception of Mano). They embarked on a mission to take control of Outpost Allen. The mission failed as the Five were defeated by Brainiac 5.1 and Gates.
Description
The Empress is a very attractive woman with green (formerly brown) hair. She wears a green jumpsuit (formerly black).

The Empress is very cruel. She tends to toy with her prey before killing them.
She is highly vocal about her political beliefs as well.
