Eternia
Context
This character is an original creation. We often call these “homemades” or “homebrewed” – think home cooking or craft beer.
Many of these characters were created to take part in tabletop role-playing game sessions. Others were invented as a creative writing exercise, often as part of a community event.
This specific character was part of our contributor Bil’s old campaign.

Powers and Abilities
Eternia is a true immortal, apparently unable to die by any normal means. Her true age is unknown, but seems to be close to nearly 1500 years.
Having all that time to learn, she has a considerably broad variety of skills, and is a veritable encyclopedia of knowledge.
As part of her immortality, she heals at a greatly accelerated rate, and can recover from non-fatal injuries in a remarkably short time period.
History
In the distant past, the woman now known as Eternia manifested one of the last metahuman abilities of her time. She has traveled the world innumerable times, and speaks several languages (using Omni-scholar). It is not known if Italian is, in fact, her native language, but she has an almost imperceptible Italian accent in every language she speaks.
In recent years, she has discovered that the crime lord Falco was, in fact, a similar immortal from the same region and the same time period. They have become dire enemies, but are unable to resolve their enmity since they cannot kill each other.
Description
A beautiful Italian woman, Eternia has lived over 1500 years. She has no adventuring garb, but wears normal clothes.
Personality
Occasionally a bit snotty, Eternia can be bitter about her extended life span. She has married numerous times, but has never borne children (a choice ; she does not know if her immortality could be inherited). Once futilely suicidal, she now feels she cannot finally find rest until Falco is also dead.
Against mortals, she does not try to kill. However, she does not have the ingrained compunction against killing most heroes have, as her prejudices and conceptions were formed in an earlier, more brutal time.
DC Universe History
Eternia coud have crossed paths with Ra’s Al-Ghul many times in the past, bringing her into contact with Batman, or any other heroes that have fought him. Or, Vandal Savage could be the immortal foe she is feuding with.
