Context
Freefall appeared in a relatively high profile, early Image Comics series. It was Gen13, about a group of young superhumans on the run from a sinister intelligence agency. The book started in 1994, and went through a number of reboots and relaunches over the decades.

Powers and Abilities
Freefall is a Gen-Active 2nd generation. This means that child of a member of the Team 7 who were the first exposed to the Gen-Factor.
She has gained the ability to manipulate the local gravity either increasing it up to render an opponent motionless, or decreasing it throwing things (including herself if need be) into the air.
She shares a link with Fairchild, when one is hurt, the other knows it.

History
Roxy’s birth is the result of the passion between Alex Fairchild and Gloria Pelligrino. Pelligrino was the daughter of the CO of the garrison where Alex was having R&R, back during the Team 7 time.
Being pregnant without a husband is not the kind of things a military officer’s daughter can afford, so she ran away from home. She married Aaron Spaulding. Two months later she gave birth to baby Roxanne.
To save face, they told everybody around the girl was from Aaron’s first marriage. So much did they lie that they couldn’t tell Roxy, estimating the truth would hurt her more than the lie. That’s how Roxanne believed Gloria was her step mother as indeed she was her mother, and was sure Aaron Spaulding was her father.
The shock was terrible when she learned that Alex Fairchild was her real father and Fairchild was indeed her half sister (which explained the psionic link between the two).
Genesis
But way before that, Roxy was drafted in IO’s Project: Genesis. With the help of Lynch, she escaped along with her four teammates. Back there, she had a crush on Grunge, and kept sending him obvious signals. However, the boy was obsessed by how attractive Fairchild had become.
While whining above Grunge’s attitude, she was the first to be hit on by Rainmaker’s ambiguous sexuality.
During the course of her adventures, she has been abducted by aliens with Fairchild and Grunge, got back to Earth on a future where Lynch was ready to destroy humanity to get rid of the D’rahn invasion, and traveled back in time. The Coda Cordelia wanted to take her as hostage to ensure Alex Fairchild’s loyalty…
To sum it up, anything rotten that could befall on Gen 13 was for her first. But she always managed to get out unharmed.
Description
She’s a small teenager with black hair and violet eyes (natural). She dyed her forelock to match her eyes. When fighting, she wears a pair of cycling body glove, a leather jacket and a pair of military boots.
Usually, she dresses like a regular American teenager, often wearing mini skirts. As time passed her manner of dress became increasingly revealing.
Personality
She’s the youngest and spunkiest of the team. She’s in love with Grunge, and since they’re going out, she tries to keep him focused. At least when she’s not playing with his emotions.
She’s always been jealous of Fairchild’s appearance. She has a couple of bad habits like smoking, whining, cultivating a bad attitude and so on.
