Powers and Abilities

The SWAT cyborgs have none of the skills they possessed before their conversion ; they are just juggernauts whose sole goal is killing. They are armor plated, and their right hand has been replaced with an energy gun.


This group of four cyborgs were built using the survivors of the Gault SWAT team, although they served only as the meat base for nearly mindless killing machines.

They were Commissioner James Anderson’s big guns against X, and were dropped in the waterfront where they started razing buildings. X intervened to protect his ’hood ; he managed to put the first mark of the X on Anderson (who was in a chopper above the battle scene) and destroy one of the cyborgs. He then drew the remaining three to the Pitbulls’ hideout, and started shooting on the Pitbulls to trigger their aggressiveness.

It worked : the Pitbulls tore through the remaining cyborgs and gunned down X, leaving him in a coma for two full days. The whole operation, due to civilian and police casualties, was a complete PR disaster for Anderson, upon whom X would soon complete his mark.

None. Due to lack of time and to avoid bugs and loopholes, the artificial intelligence was kept extremely simple. The cyborgs just look for a particular thermal signature and try to eliminate it ; they also eliminate anything else in their way that looks threatening. They do not care at all about collateral damage.

DC Universe History

Could be a good opponent for street level heroes who have run afoul of the law, especially if these characters cannot easily damage the cyborgs.
