General White
Context
This bloke appeared early during the Dragon Ball manga saga, back when the power levels of the protagonists were more modest.
This arc was named after the organisation General White was a part of – the Red Ribbon Army.
History
General White took the mayor of a little town in the Snowlands as a hostage, to make the people work for him.
Songoku arrived shortly after, as his plane robot pilot crashed near the town. He promised the villagers he would rescue the mayor, and went to the tower.

On each floor there was some enemy to defeat. First simple soldiers on the second floor.
Then Sergeant Metallic, a robot who resembled Arnold Schwarzenegger.
On the fourth floor Songoku fought Sergeant Murasaki, a ninja.
However, Goku found a friend in android Super 8. Originally designed to crush him, Super 8 revealed himself to be a pacifist at heart.
At the top of the Tower, after defeating a maze, there was White. But before finishing him Songoku and Super 8 fell at a trap door and fought Boing, the Gum Monster.
White wasn’t a hard enemy for Songoku. Yet White nevertheless shot him and it was an enraged Super 8 who finished the general.
Description
A short man, about 5’ 2”, with grey hair, a red handkerchief around the neck, a green sweater and brown trousers. He seems to be in his mid-40s and likes smoking.
Personality
The ruler of the Steel Tower, White passes most of his time ordering inspections and using the men of the people in the Snowlands as slaves to find the dragon ball in the area.
