Context

I wasn’t going to write that gnarth up. I mean, who wakes up one morning and says “hey, let’s write a gnarth up !”. But it’s a convenient stock monster and having stats for those is handy.

The gnarth appeared in Wonder Woman comics during the “karate mod” era. For more context about that, see the Wonder Woman (karate mod era) character profile. Unsurprisingly.

Background

  • Base Of Operations: An unnamed dimension.

Powers and Abilities

Gnarths are huge reptile-like monsters with a hide… like unto a thing of iron !

Diana Prince (Wonder Woman) faces a gnarth

History

Gnarths are enormous animals that live in an unnamed dimension, not far from the city of Chaldonor. One was captured for the arena games of that decadent, evil city – and pitted against Wonder Woman and Ranagor.

At this point Wonder Woman was just Diana Prince, and had lost her amazing amazon powers. But it was OK because, you see, she knew karate.

Description

See illustrations.

Personality

Very aggressive, but roughly as smart and agile as a particularly daft chicken taped onto a psychotic pitbull.
