Powers and Abilities

Hardwire has enhanced reflexes, strength, speed and durability.

He can extrude rigid monofilaments from his fingertips, surrounded by a burning green energy. These are sharp enough to wound or even kill Hardcase. They’ll cleave through steel as if it wasn’t there.

History

Hardwire is a contract killer working in California. He does most of his work for the crimelord of the West Coast, rivalled only by Anton Lone : Sandra Trent, aka the Operator. Trent was put into power by Rex Mundi.

Hardwire attempted to kill Hardcase on Trent’s orders, but failed due to Choice’s presence. Taken into custody by Aladdin, he was freed and given orders to kill Hardcase and Choice when they were preparing to invade Aladdin’s Groom Lake base. Hardwire was teamed up with Headknocker. However, Hardcase and Choice left after a first skirmish.

Fleeing from Aladdin, he chose to avenge himself from Hardcase. Hardwire invaded his home, slashing everything while he waited for his return. He was, however, overconfident – Hardcase had learned to fight since their first encounter. Hardwire was knocked unconscious just as the rebuilt NM-E savagely attacked Hardcase.

Description

See illustrations.

Personality

A sadistic, yet professional, killer. He enjoys toying with his opponents (the more they seem skilled, the more he will toy) or slaughtering inferior opposition.

He reacts badly when things do not go his way, even when it is just a minor annoyance.

Quotes

“I don’t talk to corpses.” (slashing and almost killing Hardcase as the latter attempts to reason with him)

DC Universe History

Hardwire is a highly dangerous killer for most characters, and could easily kill one or even several. Only use him if you are well aware of that.
