Judomaster II
(Kingdom Come version)
Context
This version of DC Comics’ (and before that Charlton) Judomaster appeared in the landmark mid-1990s series Kingdom Come. It chronicles a possible, and unpleasant, future of the DC Universe.
History
The woman who has taken up the name of Judomaster is the daughter of Tiger, the sidekick of the original Judomaster. Her father trained her from birth for the role, and she has proudly taken on the mantle, although the two fought fiercely about it during her younger years.
Judomaster has dedicated herself to assisting the weak who are oppressed by the strong. She joined the Justice Battalion shortly after its inception. Although she was bothered by the attitude of some of its members (including Magog) she was proud to belong to such an organization.
Judomaster was killed in Kansas pursuing the Parasite.
Description
This Judomaster is an Asian woman of average height and exceptional physique. She wears a yellow and red costume with a rising sun motif similar to her predecessor and has added one of those short jackets that seems to be all the rage.
Her long black hair protrudes from the back of her mask in a long pony-tail.
Personality
Judomaster is a quiet young woman, but when she speaks it is generally because she has something worth saying. She is very certain of herself (almost to a fault if she weren’t so completely capable).
She has made the protection of the weak her life’s goal, and will stand up to bullies or oppressors, including her own teammates who have learned to respect her.
