Powers and Abilities

Killerwatt can emit large quantities of lethal electricity from his hands. This allows him to electrocute his foes with a touch.

He built upon this by having special weapons made (or perhaps he built those himself ?). Much like a Taser™ weapon, these shoot conductive cables that’ll hit the target and deliver a continuous charge. But they seem closer to whips than a typical taser cable with a barbed tip.

Once the cables have hit something, it looks like Killerwatt is shooting a big stream of lightning into the target, the light from the lightning hiding the cable.

It is possible, but not demonstrated, that Killerwatt has an enhanced resilience toward electricity.

Furthermore, one secondary account states that, occasionally, the electricity escapes from his control and behaves with a mind of its own. But that was never demonstrated in the primary material. If you want such a Limitation, it would presumably work as a special sort of Minor Burnout.

History

Little is known about Killerwatt beyond the general history of the gangs of Steel Harbor.

Description

Sometimes he looks Asian, sometimes he looks a bit more like he’s from someplace in Central America or maybe Mexico. I guess you could just decide he’s both.

Personality

Killerwatt seems to be reasonably smart and competent, and to value his independence and freedom.

Killerwatt electrocutes two rival gang members

He appears to fret as a member of the Prime Movers alliance, perhaps considering he might achieve more if he struck on his own with his gang. But the gangs political context makes that unrealistic. And so he stays in while making it clear that he does not unquestioningly accept the authority of Mace Blitzkrieg.

Killerwatt is a cautious man. He’s courageous, but he won’t take silly risks for no reason either. On the other hand, he’s enough of a professional to take risks to rescue a fellow Prime Movers OG, which is not one might expect from a member of this merry band of thugs.

Quotes

“Fry !”

“You must be nuts, Mace. So Fletcher’s gone… so what ? He could come back any day— and if he does, I don’t want to be involved in anything that’s gonna make him mad.”

“Let’s go. I already got Airborne to safety, but we still have to move fast.”

“It never occurred to you to check your target first ?”
