Powers and Abilities

Killjoy is a mutant whose body and brain has been cybernetically enhanced to assist her in high speed traveling and combat.

She’s highly trained in hand to hand combat and extensively trained in the use of firearms, all at superhuman speed.

History

Killjoy’s adolescence can be traced through filled the police records of various US states. By 15 she had been already arrested for armed robbery, home invasion, auto theft, aggravated battery and reckless homicide.

She dropped out of high school, had a baby, got married, divorced. Then she spent the next few years drifting in and out of detention centers, correctional facilities, welfare hotels, emergency rooms. She was diagnosed as suffering from chronic drug abuse, attention deficit disorder and anti social personality disorder.

We have the technology to rebuild her

After a failed robbery attempt and high speed chase through the streets of NYC, she was hit by a large tanker truck. Even with her mutant speed, she could not avoid the explosion. Killjoy was left completely burned and permanently disfigured.

That’s when Cyberdata made their move and turned her in as the deadliest woman in the world. She fought Cyberforce and many other heroes and anti-heroes. Back then, Image comics still took place in the same world.

Later in her career, she was hit by the Kraken, a cybernetic foe created by the very CEO of Cyberdata. The Kraken rampaged the Cyberdata’s interests all around the world.

While Killjoy was left on the battlefield with the bottom half of her body missing, and recovering at Cyberforce’s sick bay, she still had the resource to escape her restraints, crawl to the armory, and set demolition charges in an attempt to destroy the Kraken. She blew the remaining half of her body up in the process.

Description

Killjoy’s body is completely cybernetic, and looks like gilded metal. Her face is permanently tattooed with a skull face.

Her hair is tied in a long pony tail starting at the top of her skull.

Personality

Killjoy is deeply insane. Her callsigns comes more of her joy of killing than of killing joy.

She’s the type to shoot first and fast and question the remains.

Quotes

“Your mother never warned you about fast women ? ” (…follows an all out charge)

DC Universe History

Replace Cyberdata with Lexcorp, and here you go ! The SHOC become variations on the Team Luthor theme, and the Kraken would have been a master weapon intended against Superman.

The Cyberdata mess in the last few months of 1996 would be replaced by the seeming death of Luthor and the appearance of Luthor II, so you ’ll have to position Cyberforce in the early 90s.

Design notes

Low connection with Cyberdata’s CEO and High connection with Cyberdata Itself is because of the very nature of Emil Zadroc. He’s ruling Cyberdata’s business completely in shadow. We never see him but late in the series. He only addressed Killjoy personally once.

But as SHOCs, Cyberdata’s elite mercenary corps, leader, Killjoy has access to all Cyberdata’s hardware and facilities. And that means lot of firepower.
