First appearance :
The Kindred #1.

Origin issue :
The Kindred #3.

Significant issues :

The Kindred #1-4

Slayton goes to Cyberjack to get information on the alien responsible Diane LaSalle’s coma. He is taken prisoner by Black Razors monitoring the hacker. He goes to IO, concludes a deal with Colby : in exchange for information on the Daemonites, he leads a Black Razors’ unit to free Lynch and Alicia Turner, abducted by a Kindred. Grifter joins to save Alicia.

Captured by the Kindred, they learn that their leader, the one that commanded the abductions, is a former Team 7 agent believed KIA. He wants to avenge from their former teammate that left him for dead. Lynch, Backlash, Grifter, Alicia and Colby (the last surviving Black Razor of the initial group) manage to kill Bloodmoon and escape the island.

DV8 #26+

During a walk outside of IO’s complex, Copycat is attacked by a Saurian Kindred. While trying to get rid of them with her mind control power, she fumbles and the mind of the creature is trapped in her head. Whether it’s the source of her mental trauma is unclear.

Much later, when Ivana orders her to control Bliss, the mind of the saurian passes to Bliss, Copycat is freed from her mental instability and Bliss starts to act strangely. She finally attacks Ivana and tries to take control of IO. She’s stopped by her father, Sublime and Frostbite, agents of IO’s dissidents willing to overthrow Ivana’s rule.

Backlash

Dingo is a canine Kindred.

Savant Garde

Though it is not specifically stated, Sheba looks like a feline Kindred.
