M-80 of SHIELD (Captain America character) (Marvel Comics)

(Sayuri Kyoto)

The Elite Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. were apparently an attempt at creating a backup feature. It fizzled after one appearance, in 2000. However, they could be useful in many campaigns. Or perhaps used as Player Characters  in a S.H.I.E.L.D. campaign.

An M-80 is a firecracker with the maximum legal charge of explosive.

Powers and Abilities

M-80 is a demolition expert. She often uses flexible explosives like detcord (a rope-like explosive) or clearing strips (long bands of plastic with a small explosive charge every 20cm).

Kyoto’s grand-mother died in Hiroshima, a fact apparently connected with her fascination with explosives.

Nothing else is known about M-80, but she’s now part of an elite agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. team that was assembled by Sharon Carter while she was Director of that organisation.

See our Skul character profile for the adventures of the Elite Agents.

Sayuri is almost always grinning. She wears a customised uniform and a small leather backpack (presumably filled with demolition gear and other things that go boom).

Exuberant and a bit childish, which is always a good idea when it comes to high explosives.

“Time for tasty treats ! Who want some candy ?” (throws explosives at enemies)

Design Notes

The low screen time means speculative stats. In the case of the Elite Agents, the standard S.H.I.E.L.D. agent stats were used as a foundation.
