Amalgam Comics version of Multi-Man

Multi-Masters

Context

This guy *is* obscure. He only appeared in one flashback panel in the Amalgam Comics joint event between DC and Marvel. But we liked the Amalgam  concept back in those days.

Multi-Masters is a fusion between Multi-Man and the Puppet Master.

History

Duncan Masters discovered a strange radioactive metal that he dubbed “solid light”. He found that it had many unusual properties.

After exposing himself to an intense burst of its radiation, he found that he had the power to change forms at will (thus, Omni-Power).

In addition he discovered that he could mentally control any robot made out of this metal; he calls such robots his “puppet-robots”. In his latest attempt to defeat the Challengers of the Fantastic, he created Ultivac the Multi-Robot from his supply of solid light.

Multi-Masters’ greatest weakness is his affection for his only daughter, blind robot expert and honorary Challenger June Masters. Duncan would never do anything to hurt her.

Multi-Masters is a member of the Challenger Haters of Evil. Other members include Ultivac the Multi-Robot, Diablo the Volcano Man, Radioactive Kra, and Drabny the Fixer.

Description

He appears just as Multi-Man did in his “big brain” form. That is, he has a large bald head, a short (2’) body, and skinny arms and legs. He wears the usual Multi-Man costume: blue leotard, red cape, etc.

Should I write up the other Challenger Haters of Evil ? (sure, they don’t even appear on panel, but still…)
