As part of the deployment of the tags system, I’ve fully tagged the 501 most recent entries. This coincidentally corresponds to everything published in 2018, 2019 and 2020-so-far.
So, yes, that’s but 8.3% of the whole site. I agree. But it’s a large enough set to test the system at scale.
It’s holding pretty well so far. Though I’ve made numerous small changes and additions. Which slows tagging down, obvs. But the more I tag, the fewer changes will be necessary.
The idea is to keep tagging, so the tags results do not look *too* pathetic. Of course, rote repetition’ll gradually damage my calm, so the number of entries tagged per diem will diminish over time.
It will also diminish the time I can spend writing. But I had recently built up a buffer of entries to buy time to do a Mass Effect revise-and-reillustrate project. So that shouldn’t impact publication.
