History

The Bounty Hunters are a group of alien mercenaries. Their 1995 appearance foreshadowed the Fire From Heaven crossover in the Wildstorm Universe. At this time, they were chasing the Qeelocke, an animal able to open interdimensional  gateways, for a bounty sponsored by Damocles.

Their hunt led them to our Earth where they clashed with Gen 13. Though they’re quite able to deal with normal humans, they are far from efficient where it comes to battle super-powered beings. So the teenagers managed to kick their ass back to where they came.

Damocles hired them again in 1996, as a regular mercenary unit. They also performed abductions, such as bringing to Damocles the Tsung family.

Their group is made of four characters :

Description

He’s tall and muscular. His skin is green and quite hairy. His right eye is partially covered by threads of skin, as if it has been melted by acid, his left eye is yellow.

He dress in military outfit and smokes a big cigar. His third arm allows him to shoot two handed while still smoking his cigar.

Personality

He follows his main objective, discarding any minor threat that can gets in his way.

He’s not very courageous, and retreats as soon as he understands he’s facing superior, or simply equal, opposition.

DC Universe History

In the DCU they’d probably simply be a bunch of special agents from Darkseid, with Jade being a Female Fury hopeful and Hardball being related to Sleez.

They would have appeared during the Legends arc, performing some not-so-successful work for Godfrey. Mostly softening up the heroes and being the spearhead for parademon troops. They appeared a second time during the Suicide Squad’s adventure on Apokolyps, but where defeated again.
