Context
Strikeback! was a minor comics miniseries by Jonathan Peterson and Kevin Maguire. It started publication in 1994 with Malibu, but the comics market cratering interrupted publication. In 1996, it could be fully and correctly published by Image.
For the full plot and context, readers should start with the character profile for Nikita, the main character.

Powers and Abilities
Pandora appears to be a fairly normal cat. Apart from her above average intelligence, ability to understand humans, and ability to mentally take control of others.
History
Her history unknown, Pandora is a member (or possibly mascot) of Strikeback. This is a group of super-powered types in New York, who gathered together as a form of mutual defence pact.
She was present when Nikita was celebrating her 25th birthday with Rascal on the rooftops. The party was interrupted when they were attacked by mercenaries hired by Nikita’s parents. The mercenary Doberman managed to get away with Nikita while his flunky Rottweiler battled Rascal. Rascal won with the help of Midnight Devil, who happened to be passing at the time.
While the pair followed the trail, Pandora found a nearby resident. She took control of him to get him to phone the rest of Strikeback.

On the prowl
The cat caught up to the rest of the team. By this point they had been helping Rascal attack the local warehouse used as a staging ground by the mercenaries. But they weren’t in time to rescue Nikita. Borrowing one of the mercenaries’ crafts, they followed the trail to Dragonryder Island.
The stealthy approach failed. Yet they managed to break in, Sherman being familiar with the place as he’d worked for Dragonryder before his accident. Pandora remained out of the way of most of the fight.
After Strikeback and Dragonryder agreed to a truce, they dealt with the accidentally released Monster X. Strikeback member Sherman was killed.
The fighting done, Nikita announced that she’d be returning to her home dimension with her parents, to find out where she’d come from, but promising to return.
Personality
Generally a standard cat in most respects. Yet she seems to be a loyal team member, helping her friends when needed.
DC Universe History
Her search for her wayward younger brother led Pandora and Strikeback into a meeting with the JLI, in one of whose embassies he had taken up residence. Guy Gardner still bears Pandora some animosity over what Pandora made him do with a plunger and a pack of Oreos.
