Powers and Abilities
Persuader is a skilled hand-to-hand combatant. His genetically engineered strength is far beyond human average and his reflexes are amazingly quick.
His Atomic Axe is one of the most feared weapons in the galaxy, able to kill even a Daxamite.
History
In the mid 30th century, paranoia about the interstellar monsters known as Sun-Eaters took the galaxy by storm. A program was initiated on Angtu and four other worlds to genetically engineer champions to fight the Sun-Eater. One of the champions was the Persuader.
Howbeit, the Persuader developed a strong disregard for others’ wishes. He became an extortionist whose weapon of choice was an “atomic axe” which can sever the molecular bonds of any substance. Persuader was eventually jailed in Takron Galtos, the prison planet.
Persuader was freed by the Legion during the Sun-Eater scare and united with the other four engineered warriors to take on the Sun-Eater. But the Sun-Eater scare was a ruse by UP President Chu to manipulate the Legion. Thus Persuader joined with Tharok, the Empress, Validus and Mano to form the Fatal Five and destroy the Legion.

Fatal Five
The Five escaped from Legion. Then, they attempted to fill Chu’s plans and start a new war between Titan and Braal. During the fight against the Legion, Persuader’s Atomic Axe was transmuted by Element Lad into cheese spread.
Persuader and the rest of the Five (minus Mano) were later freed from imprisonment by their new member, the Emerald Eye of Ekron. The Eye created a new Axe for Persuader, and the Five invaded Outpost Allen. Brainiac 5 and Gates manage to fight them off.
Fatal Five Thousand
After escaping from prison an additional time, Persuader realized he could cut through dimensional barriers with his axe. Gathering alternate versions of themselves from across alternate dimensions, the Fatal Five quickly became the Fatal Five Thousand.
It took the combined efforts of the Legion and the 21st century Teen Titans (gathered by former Titan Superboy who had recently become trapped in the 31st century) to turn the tide. In the end, the Legion and the Fatal Five Thousand were all seemingly destroyed in the temporal chaos…
Description
Persuader wears clothes reminiscent of a medieval executioner and a metal mask (like a hockey mask). He is hunched over most of the time, and has very thin hair on his head.
Personality
Persuader enjoys his work and comes off as confident. That confidence backed up by his Atomic Axe.
He is bloodthirsty and cruel. He has absolutely no qualms about killing anyone.

- The Atomic Axe is a relic leftover from one of Earth’s World Wars. Its Blade is so potent, it can slice though any known substance. It can even slice through raw energy. To do so, Persuader must make an Action Check using his Weaponry Skill as the AV and the axe’s Energy Absorption as the EV against an OV/RV equal to the AV/EV of an incoming energy attack.
One or more RAPs indicate that the Axe has successfully interrupted the energy attack. Resolve the attack normally and reduce the RAPs earned on the attack by 20]
