Power Core
Context
This character is an original creation. We often call these “homemades” or “homebrewed” – think home cooking or craft beer.
Many of these characters were created to take part in tabletop role-playing game sessions. Others were invented as a creative writing exercise, often as part of a community event.
This specific organisation was part of a RPG campaign run by writeups.org contributor Bil.

History
Power Core was formed when Black Lion and Champion moved to NYC, after the Alliance fought and defeated Vok’r Ath-Shenti and his Warriors of the Fold. Encountering Rebound, they became caught up in a battle against an interdimensional force that still hasn’t been explained.
In the process, they encountered Powerhouse and Silverstorm. After the conflict was over, they decided to stay together, and formed Power Core.
The only change in the membership was the addition of Psyche a couple of years ago.
Resources of Power Core
An unkown source funded the inception of Power Core. They are currently being subsidised by a combination of Federal and State governments, and anonymous sources. It is currently believed that Silverlance was the original source of funds for the group.
Headquarters of Power Core
The location of Power Core’s base is unknown. It is somewhere under the subway tunnels, with apertures scattered across New York to keep the exact location secret.
Their original headquarters was in the top three floors of an office building. But they had to abandon that after they, and the top of said building vanished for several months.
Equipment of Power Core
Each member of Power Core has a communications band, capable of satellite-boosted, planet-wide scrambled communications [BODY 04, Radio Communications: 19, scrambled, R#2].
The only other equipment, other than top-secret equipment in their headquarters, used by Power Core is their Recon Jet, which they usually only use if they really, _really_ have to get somewhere out of the area extremely fast. Otherwise, Psyche and Champion carry Strongarm and Rebound.
