Powers and Abilities
Powerhouse, despite his small size, is, without a doubt, the strongest human being alive, and possibly ever.
His power is assumed to come from a bond to the fabric of reality, itself. This also enables him to root himself to the spot, becoming almost impossible to budge. It also works for attempts to teleport or dimensionally banish him, though not as powerfully.
He can jump a distance of up to a mile, and has a healing factor roughly 30 times faster than normal.
In addition to his superhuman powers, he has the skills he learned both from his father, a former police detective, and from his own time in the police academy. He is a skilled pilot, driver, and sailor, an excellent shot, and he knows police methods and procedures like the back of his hand.
History
Michael Robinson was the son of a third generation New York cop. He was among the top of his class in the Police Academy. Shortly before he would have graduated, he was shot in a bar brawl, an injury that paralyzed him from the waist down. His hopes crushed, he left the Academy. Robinson began to spend all of his time at home, feeling sorry for himself.
One day, he was sitting at his computer. The entity that would later assist in the battle against Doomgiver, Nomad, appeared in his room. Revealing that Michael would one day be one of the great heroes of his world, he used his mysterious abilities to bring the young man’s latent meta-humanity out.
The surge in strength was a little much for him, at first. But he soon learned just how powerful he was, as he stood up from his wheelchair and launched himself over a quarter mile away.
Six months after he obtained his powers, Powerhouse joined Black Lion, Champion, Rebound, and Silverstorm, and later Psyche, as one of the hero team known as Power Core.

Description
A short, slender man, usually in a T-shirt and jeans. But this small frame hides the most physically powerful human being in the world. His T-shirt is usually a sleeveless black shirt, with white letters that says “NYC Police Academy”.
Personality
Powerhouse is a relatively normal young man, with normal drives and hobbies. However, he is also so incredibly superhumanly strong that no metahuman on Earth can match him.
He is still a little concerned about the sheer power he has, but is overcoming that, day by day. In a fight, unless he is fighting a foe on par with him, he will simply not even try to dodge, relying on his durability and power to see him through. If he is fighting a foe on his power level, though, he will fight to his best, trying to use his great strength to put his foe down as soon as possible.
Oh, and don’t call him ’shorty‘ or ’shrimp‘. He doesn’t like it. He also has a crush on Rebound, his teammate.
DC Universe History
In the DCU, Powerhouse could have some sort of mysterious connection to the Source, which would both power him, and leave him as a target for the machinations of Darkseid, among others.
However, he would pretty much have to appear _after_ the Doomsday debacle, lest he interfere with the timeline too much.
