Professor Plutonium
Context
During the 1970s, confectioner and cakes maker Hostess advertised in major comic books. The advertisements were full-page comics starring Marvel and DC Comics characters (and Hostess products).
These comics were nonsensical and a parody of the most absurd aspects of Silver Age comics. They’re still fondly remembered for their goofiness.

History
He appeared in “Batman and Professor Plutonium,” which appeared in DC Comics Presents #19.
Batman got word that the Prof would try something in Gotham Harbor. So Bats gets into his Batboat and investigates. He finds the Prof in his yacht.
As the Prof tries to escape, he explains his plan to nuke Fort Knox. “If I can’t have it, I’ll destroy it !” Batman, however, tempts the Prof out of his yacht with Hostess™ Twinkies. Batman then ties up the Prof, planning to take him to jail.
Description
Balding on top, with white hair on the sides of his head. He wears a green suit. He is otherwise an ordinary person.
Personality
He wants all the gold. All of it. And, if he can’t have it, neither can anyone else.
