Powers and Abilities

Quarterstaff is a mutant. Her abilities include an extreme tolerance for electricity, and projecting her heightened bioelectricity through any metal object she touches. Her most common tactic is to gently tap an opponent with her steel quarterstaff, allowing her bio-electricity to surge through the staff.

In addition to her superhuman powers, Quarterstaff is a highly experienced vigilante and detective. She has been trained extensively in the martial arts and the use of melee weaponry. She has also demonstrated a good sense of command, and has led the Alliance on more than one occasion.

History

Quarterstaff is one of the first of the current generation of heroes. She began her career a little more than a year and a half before Black Lion joined her.

She was one of the founding members of the Alliance, and one of the few to remain with it through all of its incarnations.

Description

A tall, blonde woman, usually wears a medium grey gi, and a full face mask. She carries a steel quarterstaff, through which she often transmits her power.

Personality

Jenny is a tomboy, through and through. She teases her teammates relentlessly, and loves to brawl with the heavy hitters just for fun.

In combat, however, she can be quite ruthless, not to mention imaginative. She once shoved her quarterstaff in a foe’s mouth as he pontificated, and threatened to fry his brain from the inside, a threat she would not have followed through on.

DC Universe History

Jenny’s powers could have emerged after the Gene Bomb, or she could have simply been a genetic mutant.
