Game system: DC Heroes Role-Playing Game

This character is an original creation. We often call these “homemades” or “homebrewed” – think home cooking or craft beer.

Many of these characters were created to take part in tabletop role-playing game sessions. Others were invented as a creative writing exercise, often as part of a community event.

This specific character was part of a RPG campaign run by contributor Bil.

Powers and Abilities

Shreds can generate static plasma discharges on a continuous basis. These are projected up to a foot and a half past the end of his fist, resembling lightsaber daggers. However, he needs to concentrate to use them, otherwise they vanish.

Like the rest of the Devastators, he is a total loser.

Ricky was a genetic mutant, and grew up in the same neighborhood as Mangler. When the smaller mutant heard about Detonator, he jumped at the chance to be a real, live supervillain.

The rest is infamy.

A tiny man, he wears camouflage clothes and no mask. He also is Mangler’s best friend.

Annoying, and often depressed, he is also a bit spastic. In a fight, he will freak out, and lose control. When out of control, he loses the concentration he needs to maintain his energy blades, and ends up just slapping a foe into what he hopes will be humiliation.
