Slud Jak
Context
During the 1970s, confectioner and cakes maker Hostess advertised in major comic books. The advertisements were full-page comics starring Marvel and DC Comics characters (and Hostess products).
These comics were nonsensical and a parody of the most absurd aspects of Silver Age comics. They’re still fondly remembered for their goofiness.
Powers and Abilities
His control over sea-life is even more powerful than Aquaman’s. His Sludge Production allows him to pollute the water at the beach.

He appeared in “That Dirty Beach,” which appeared in Freedom Fighters #7.
Slud-Jak was tired of those lousy surface dwellers polluting the seas, so he decided to make them feel bad by polluting the water near a beach. When Aquaman tried to stop him, Slud made a shark bop Aquaman (Kaboom !). Aquaman punches Slud and flees.
Aquaman decides to try to negotiate with Slud… but he knows he’ll need bait. What could be better bait than Twinkies ? Case closed.
Description
His skin is purple and scaly. His head is bald, and has a fin on top. He has two fins on his back. He has gills extending from his mouth to the side of his head. Instead of legs, he has octopus tentacles.
