Ryu

The protagonist of the 2013 reboot of the Shadow Warrior action AA video games series. Shallow but gifted thug/hitman who ends up fighting demons.

Master Bison

The famous Big Bad in early Street Fighter video games. Super-martial-artist, crime lord, technologist, psychic. As of December of 2018, Tom harnessed his dreaded Psycho Power and punched this old profile of his into shape. Also, we're now using the US version of the names since sticking to the Japanese one was more confusing.

Mai Shiranui

The emblematic and exaggeratedly 3-dimensional Fatal Fury and King of Fighters fighting video games character, who was never developed much. As of August of 2018, Tom revised this article to improve its coverage.

One of the most popular classic Street Fighters characters, a giant Russian wrestler. As of July of 2018, Tom has revised and improved this entry. It now has 8% more muscle and 11% more chest hair.

One of the biggest guns in the Street Fighters universe. As of July of 2018, this profile was overhauled and expanded.

Shermie

A lighthearted grappler from the King of Fighters video games series. As of March of 2018, this profile was revised to add information.

Heidern

A paramilitary officer and hand-to-hand killer from the King of Fighters brawling video games. As of January of 2018, this profile was overhauled.

Ralf Jones

Super-elite soldiers from various SNK video games - chiefly the King of Fighters series. As of November of 2017, this profile was considerably expanded so it's more useful for people who aren't KoF experts.

One of the iconic 1980s ninja badasses, as he appeared in 1980s Marvel Comics by Larry Hama. As of November of 2017, this profile was rescoped and entirely redone. And now it's back - back in white.

An extensive profile that covers everything from 1973 to 1987 (across all publishers). Mantis is a Vietnamese super-martial-artist and psychic who was an Avenger, as well as the prophesied mother of a cosmic entity. As of October, 2017 this profile received advanced alien training in the art of M&M stats.

A martial artist with a whip and a gun, from the King of Fighters video games. Profile redone in December, 2016.

Terry Bogard

The original lead for the Fatal Fury brawling video games, and later one of the playable characters in King of Fighters games.

Elan the monk

From the video game Recettear, a purposefully typical two-fisted young priest/martial artist heroic fantasy adventurer. It's a JRPG, so of course he has magical attacks.

Nagi the lancer

Nagi the lancer, a polearms (esp. naginata) expert from the Recettear video game. Also, very lost.
DCH players might note that the Recettear writeups often come with interesting little construct to simulate JRPG character powers (though Nagi may not be the best example, I'll admit. ANYWAY.)
Also her eyes are colour-coordinated with our site, so we appreciate that.

Charme the Thief

From the video game Recettear, a good example of the thief archetype from Japanese heroic fantasy games. With magical gameplay powers, obvs.
