Tara Cobal
Context
During the 1970s, confectioner and cakes maker Hostess advertised in major comic books. The advertisements were full-page comics starring Marvel and DC Comics characters (and Hostess products).
These comics were nonsensical and a parody of the most absurd aspects of Silver Age comics. They’re still fondly remembered for their goofiness.
Powers and Abilities
She, with help from Fortran, was able to take control of “the computer” in the STAR Labs “outside Metropolis”. This enabled her to take control over all the world’s satellites.
Her sidekick, who is only called Fortran, seems to be doing most of the work. He has all 2’s for ability scores, and he has Scientist: 11 with Scholar (computers).

History
She appeared in “Superman Saves the Weather Satellites !” which was printed in Brave & Bold #172.
Superman discovers that someone has attempted to cause weather satellites to collide. He quickly determines that Cobal (yes, it’s Cobal, not COBOL) and Fortran are behind it.
He doesn’t want to destroy the access terminal, so he decides to distract them. How better than to toss Twinkies into the room ? Soon, he has them captured.
Description
She has short black hair, and wears tight fitting clothes. Her outfit consists of a black long-sleeved shirt, black pants, and black boots. She also wears round, black earrings.
Fortran has brown hair, with a receding hairline. He wears a white shirt and brown pants.
Personality
She wants to use her vast scientific knowledge to rule the world…
