Thunder

Context
Thunder (Cece Beck) is the far-future equivalent of Captain Marvel (Billy Batson) or Mary Marvel. This echoes the themes of “Superman of the far future” in DC continuity, such as the Superman of 2465 or Superman One Million. That she serves with the Legion of Super-Heroes echoes the pre-Crisis Superboy’s career with this team.
Thunder existed in the Legion of Super-Heroes continuity that started in 1994, the “reboot era”. And the Ordway era of Shazam tales of Captain Marvel. Over the decades, both sets of characters have had several reboots to stay relevant.
Cece Beck’s name a reference to C.C. Beck , the Fawcett artist who drew Captain Marvel’s early career.

When she speaks the words “Captain Marvel,” 10 year old Cece Beck is transported from her home time of 90th Century Binderaan to 31st Century Earth. She becomes Thunder, a 17 year old powerhouse, with:

History
In a distant future, young Cece Beck’s parents were killed by a criminal. After finding the entrance to the Rock of Eternity, Beck awoke the slumbering wizard (Billy Batson). By saying the wizard’s name, Beck was granted the SHAZAM! powers, and became Thunder.
With the Wizard’s help, Thunder managed to avenge her parents and was adopted by a kindly foster family.
During a trip through time, Thunder was diverted to the 30th Century by the machinations of the evil Dr. Savant. Savant and his anti-magic cult managed to destroy the Rock of Eternity. They scattered its pieces across the galaxy. Thunder was trapped in the 30th century without the Rock, and joined the Legion.
It was discovered that not only did each fragment of the Rock contain a piece of the power of SHAZAM!, but it’s radiation was harmful to Thunder. Thunder also discovered that when she spoke the words “Captain Marvel” while in the 30th Century, she was transported back home to the 90th Century as well as becoming Cece Beck again.
After the attack by the Blight, Thunder spoke her magic words one last time and returned to the future, resigning from the Legion.
Description
In her Cece Beck form, Thunder appears as a normal, blonde little girl.
As Thunder, she is much taller, and she wears the standard Shazam! costume, red with a yellow lightning bolt on the front. She wears a yellow hair band and yellow shoes. Her cape is white with gold trim.
Personality
Thunder is a kind person, strong willed and playful. She cares deeply for others, and won’t stand bullies.
