History

Ishido Minowara was an undocumented immigrant. His family had moved to China, but like thousands of others he moved to the US to find a better future. After facing hard times he and his brother turned to crime to secure income, and for protection against the police.

Joining a Chinese gang he worked in extortion, smuggling and prostitution. Over the years, people began to suspect that he was too soft-hearted for the job. That made him a potential threat, for he knew too much. They secretly decided to get rid of him.

He was overpowered by his colleagues and taken to an abandoned ceiling. There he was tortured with electricity to a slow death.

Arisen

He woke up completely dazzled in a morgue. Ishido ran away, killing the astonished clerk in his way with a touch. He stopped in a dark alley and, after throwing up all he had in his stomach, was horrified at his strange new life and powers.

The next day, more in control, he decided to use his dead status to his advantage. He had his brother forge him a new ID for him and his family.

As Edward Lee he got a job in a high rise building as a janitor and was secretly using his powers for revenge. Later he joined the outstanding group of adventurers, the Havok Spreaders (I know it doesn’t sound very heroic but that’s what we they call us 🙂

Description

As the Thunder Rider he is full clad in an Chinese-styled plate armor and wears a metallic mask like those from ancient Greek Theater but without the mouth and a conical hat (I know I’m playing too much Mortal Kombat, leave me alone :). Lightning cross his body randomly, especially when he is exited.

As Edward Lee he is usually working as a janitor and dressed accordingly. He superspeeds through his job when emergencies arrive.

Personality

Life has not been easy on Eddie (never call him that, he hates it). That made him rather introspective and highly suspicious of anyone. It is very hard to win his trust, but those who do find an ally for life.

He deeply loves his wife and child and is very careful with his secret ID because of them. He secretly fears touching his wife because it is too easy to lose control of his powers. He never let his guard down and is merciless on his enemies, tough he only kills if necessary.
