Powers and Abilities

The Thunderer is one of the most powerful lightning wielders in the DC Universe. His lightning bolts are even more powerful than those of the Qwardian Thunderers. In fact, the Council think that Thunderer has been in Qward, due to his codename, his fighting prowess and the surprising science that he sometimes handle.

Thunderer can also cover his body with a coat of high-charged electricity, obtained through the magnetic fields around and near him, the ambient static electricity and his own bio-electric aura (in DC Heroes RPG terms, Lightning Being).

That control of the bio-electric aura allows him to delay unconsciousness for some seconds more than others (Mind Over Matter), ability that can also bestow on others.

History

Thunderer’s spaceship crashed on Planet Z. Since he’s such a skilled pilot, the Council suppose that he was running away from a very dangerous situation.

But the Council doesn’t press its members to talk about their pasts, if they don’t want.So only Thunderer knows about the moments before the crash.

Since that moment, Thunderer became the gadgeteer  of the team. He was the one who understood the potential of the Z race, and he ran the experiments that finally let to the creation of the Big Heads, with extra help from Sorcerer (Number 9) and Temptation (Number 10).

Description

Thunderer is a tall, strong, bearded warrior. His face shows the scars of time and experience. When he wields one of his “thunderbolts”, he looks like a little Hephaestus, a little Thor.

He wears the usual Council suit, a dark grey skin tight uniform with one black dot in the left chest.

Personality

Thunderer is a warrior, but also a learned warrior.

He would prefer to win without all of the destruction, but discovered long ago that most beings in the galaxy prefer to die than to lose something they own.May it be their freedom, their wealth or their lives.

So, until a battle starts, Thunderer can be quite given to talk. The moment the struggle begins, it’s now fighting time. And for Thunderer every battle is THE BATTLE.
