Powers & Abilities
Twilight is a powerful young nature mage (or witch).
She has some pretty standard mystical powers, including the ability to cast spells for offensive and defensive purposes. She has memorized some Rituals for Scryings, Wardings, and Bindings.
She also carries the Book of Three Threes. It contains a number of Elemental spells, and is a versatile research tool.
Her primary weapon is the Cloak of Sayyed (Shadows), which allows her to fly, become Invisible, teleport, and offers her a number of protections.

History
Meggan Crowley is one daughter in a family of nature mages (Witches) who have dated back to prehistory. All the women in her family are Witches, save for her older sister Morgan, who wanted to be “normal”.
It is the custom of their family that a newly-minted Witch go out into the world in a journey of self-discovery.
Having recently “graduated” to the position after being educated by her Aunt and Grandmother, Meggan was undertaking just such a journey when she encountered the apprentice ninja (Genin) Kihei of the Soge ninja clan, on a journey of his own, having fled his village.
Enamoured of Kihei’s search for adventure and self-improvement, Meggan joined him, crafting for herself the adventuring alias of “Twilight”.
Currently the pair has been hired on by the New York mercenary boss Colin Hawksmoor, leader of the Irish Wolfhounds gang, for help against the superhuman Black Claw and her minions.
Description
Witchy partner of Sogekihei with a small cat like a miniature tiger. Red hair, green eyes.
Personality
Friendly, Outspoken. Extrovert. Bit of a know-it-all. Slightly impatient with those who aren’t as smart. Perceptive.
Tends to express friendship by acerbic verbal jabs. Weird sense of humor. Since she’s (apparently) the only one who knows magic (in the campaign), thinks she’s essentially unbeatable.

Drawbacks:
Loss Vulnerability (If her Familiar is controlled by another Wizard or is Killed, Twilight loses her Powers (Until Recovered as Normal), No Intrinsic Range, All Powers), Once her Powers have been Recovered, Without her Familiar (see Power Loss) Powers and Occultist Skill suffers a -2CS to OV/RV on all attempts, until she aquires a new familiar, which requires a very involved Ritual. Secret Identity, Age (Young).
Equipment:
Both the Cloak of Sayyed and the Book of Three Threes are items Twilight inherited from her Elders. She cannot easily repair or replace them, and thus she has not paid HP for them. In game terms, She is working toward buying the Cloak, investing around half of her HP earnings toward purchasing it. After that, she will begin to pay for the Book.

- Teleportation: Takes 3 Rounds to use, thus is of limited utility in Combat.
- Sealed Systems: Power Ineffective Against Radiation Attacks.
Limitations: The book’s Powers are transcribed Rituals. If she wishes to cast them, Twilight must have the book in hand to perform the Ritual.(The book is a Required Component to the Spells) All other Ritual Requirements are in force (i.e., Must have her hands free and be able to speak)
The Book of Three Threes is a strong mystical tome of particular significance to Witches. It contains a wealth of information on Nature Magics, Elementalism, Runes, and Spellcasting specific to Witchcraft. It has a number of transcribed spells which can be read directly from the book, but it also has such information as a witch needs to research her own spells.
The book is written in the ancient Secret Tongue, and using Runic script. It cannot be used except by people who know the Secret Tongue and have at least an Expertise with Runes.]
Rituals:
All Rituals Require the use of both hands for making appropriate Signs, and the appropriate words in the Secret Tongue. Twilight thus cannot cast spells if her hands are restrained or she cannot speak.
