Vyr Seeker
Context
These appeared in early 1990s issues of an Ultraverse comic book, The Solution. But what counts is that they’re a fine example of inordinately powerful magical servant monster deployed by godlike mystical beings. And who doesn’t need some of these ?

Powers and Abilities
Seekers are as fast as a supersonic jet fighter, monstrously strong and pretty much invulnerable. They will track their designated target until they die or are assigned a new target.
They will capture their targets by shooting magical energy tendrils from their mouth (in DC Heroes RPG terms, this is a normal Grappling attack, despite the special effects) and carry them to their master.
History
Seekers are conjured by the Vyr when they dearly want somebody captured. One such beast was sent after Shadowmage when the Vyr discovered that she had the Vorlexx.
The Seeker fatally wounded two members of the Solution, but was then destroyed by Shadowmage wielding the Vorlexx. She then used the artefact to heal her wounded allies.
Description
See illustration.
Personality
Just a tracking, hunting, killing beast.
DC Universe History
The Vyr are pretty much demigods of magic, and their conjurations such as a Seeker are formidable indeed. Similar beasts could serve the likes of Trigon or Dormammu.
