Context
The Vyr appeared in the Ultraverse, one of the defunct first-half-of-the-1990s indie super-hero universes.
They are alien wizard-gods. They exist on the same alien world as two of the protagonists of The Solution, Shadowmage and Outrage. This was intriguing, but we didn’t get to see much of them.

Powers and Abilities
The Vyr are some sort of demigods of magic, with crushing mystical powers. They have treasure rooms full of mystical artefacts (including the crystalline Vorlexx, with Sorcery: 21 and SPI 21 but which corrupts the user with every use), and can conjure either very powerful single creatures (such as a Vyr Seeker) or hordes of lesser fighters and monsters.
They prefer to let summoned creatures do the fighting for them.
History
The Vyr are considered the most powerful and evil mages on the Wold. This an alien dimension whence both Shadowmage and Outrage come. Although they have been four for untold centuries, one of them was destroyed by the Vorlexx when Shadowmage became the first to actually steal that magical crystal.
The Vyr took years to locate her, as she had fled to Earth. But they captured her. However, Aera had joined the mercenary group known as the Solution, who managed to free her from the Vyr (who kept the highly dangerous Vorlexx).

Personality
The Vyr do not talk. Ordinary creatures are just small animals and, at best, annoyances to them.
DC Universe History
A JLA level threat, which could make for a good scenario for that group. For anything else than them, they are much too powerful, but a scenario could involve them without any direct confrontation.
