Powers and Abilities

Remember when you were 15 and that annoying player whose PC kept being killed, and who kept bringing back the same character, saying how it was the first character’s twin brother or some such ? Well, the Death Squad members are a bit like that.

When they die, their set of powers, their equipment and the memories of the fights they have been in are automatically “saved” in the Foreigner’s labs. He then just needs a new volunteer to be treated in order to become the new Warfare – gaining said powers, costume, experience points, etc.

Warfare has no apparent superhuman superpowers : just a suit of body armour and a big gun. I got the impression he was supposed to have built-in infrared sights in his helmet, but this was never clearly demonstrated.

History

Warfare was part of the Death Squad forces arrayed by the Foreigner. These were to defend one of his bases against an onslaught by Betty Brant-Leeds and Spider-Man (Peter Parker). Brant was on the warpath after the murder of her husband, Ned Leeds (supposedly the Hobgoblin) at the hands of the Foreigner’s men.

Warfare was defeated and activated his self-destruct system, with the entire base following suit.

Description

His armour is vaguely reminiscent of Shadowhawk’s.

Personality

None.

Quotes

“I’m Warfare. You’ve met Swift already. You’ll recognize the other members of the team. That’s all the talk. We’re on a schedule.”
