Powers and Abilities

He is cosmic watcher. He can project his senses all over the surface of a planet. No barrier can stop him from watching what he wants (in DC Heroes RPG terms, Remote Sensing).

Besides this, he has some degree of omniscience (INT, Enhanced Initiative, Detective, Military Science, Occultist). That allows him to reach uniquely accurate conclusions, in terms of deduction, awareness and keen perception.

Watcher knows little about its origin. He thinks he may be part of a cosmic entity or concept, as by the moment he has showed some degree of immortality (Invulnerability).


History

It seems a paradox, but Watcher was the last to arrive to Planet Z. Sorcerer kept saying they needed to be 10, instead of 9, to have some chances of succeeding in their empire creation. And that moment, a bright light flashed before them and appeared Watcher.

He said to have been sent to complete their number and to help them in their project. Unbeknownst to him, it was a devil disguised as Darkseid who sent him to Planet Z. This was the gift he gave Temptation, another member of the team, who is an exiled and polymorphed demon, and who once saved his unlife.

Since then, Watcher has been the spy of the Council. This know-it-all figure is respected by the Big Heads, the Council and the Z’s themselves.

Description

Watcher is towering, severe and hieratic. Looking at him (or being looked by him) can be a bit disturbing, as one never knows what his completely black eyes are looking.

His voice is deep and clear, and shows confidence and wisdom.

His dark grey Council suit with 6 black dots over the chest is completed with a white cape.


Personality

The Watcher is perhaps the most special of the members of the Council. He isn’t with them for sake of destruction, money, power, or the thrill seeking. He is with them and works with them for he thinks its his duty to do so.

He almost never enters a battle, as he has little power to help on one. Yet he accompanies his teammates when one arises. He stands there, watching the surrounding area to prevent counter strikes, previewing the actions of the enemy, and sometimes taking direct actions, like mentally attacking with his formidable psyche via Telepathy mimicked by Sorcerer.

In and out of the battle, Watcher is a silent figure who only talks when he has something important to say. Power, the team leader, has come to the conclusion that this happens because Watcher is continually tuned with the cosmos, in search of interesting and useful information. She has so ordered the team not to bother Watcher with more questions than necessary.
