Powers and Abilities
Rina has inherited the agility, grace and martial ability of her mother, and the ability to be the best there is at what she does from her father.
More specifically, she enjoys :
- Superhuman toughness.
- A healing factor .
- The ability to snikt out “psychic claws” (in DC Heroes RPG terms, Mental blast) which do not cut matter but are able to induce considerable pain in living beings. The 9” long “psychic claws” manifest from the backs of her hands, and resemble the sai which is her mother’s favoured weapon.
History
The young woman known as Rina Logan is half Canadian and half Greek. She is the daughter of the mutant hero Wolverine and the ninja assassin Elektra.

Rina was trained by her parents from childhood in the use of her inherited healing factor and enhanced senses. She also was extensively drilled to reinforce her incredible talent for the martial arts and her “psychic claws”. The latter mirror her father’s adamantium claws and her mother’s sai.
Once she was old enough, Rina came to fight for what’s right as the super-hero called Wild Thing. She first hit the hero scene when she attempted to subdue J2. Wild Thing wanted to learn if J2 knew anything about the whereabouts of the original Juggernaut.
You make my heart sing
Wild Thing and J2 met up again when they were approached by Magneta about discovering the truth about rumors of the return of Black Tom Cassidy. The three travelled to Cassidy Keep, where they were attacked by Enthralla and Sabreclaw, but defeated them. Both Wild Thing and J2 declined membership in a new supergroup Magneta proposed forming.
Rina tried out for Jubilee’s superhero team, the Uncanny X-People, at the request of her father. Although she passed their test she declined to join.
Rina attends Upper Saddle River Senior High School and keeps her identity as Wild Thing a secret. She does enjoy a burgeoning career as a junior super-hero there.
Description
Rina is a petite teenager who shares her father’s… unfortunate hairstyle. As Wild Thing she wears a red and yellow costume that is synthesis of her father’s original costume and her mother’s costume.
Personality
A teenage girl full of vim and eager for fighting, action and the wilds. Although she’s impulsive and likes battle, she has typical teenager timidity in her social life. Being Wild Thing and wearing a mask allow her to be much more assertive, and she carries her “action togs” in her backpack at all times, itching for the chance to be a hero.
She admires her parents, and think they are the coolest. In particular she has a bond with her father, who understand her wild side and thirst for the wilderness. Mr. Logan often goes running at night in Central Park with her. She even occasionally calls opponents “bub”.
Rina is determined to live up to the legacies of her parents by becoming a successful superheroine on her own terms. Although she tried out for the X-People to please her father, she refused membership because she didn’t want to walk in his footsteps. Although she loves and respects her parents, she is eager to prove herself and get out of their formidable shadows.
There is also a strong streak of thrill-seeking and hedonism in Rina’s personality. But she appears to have successfully channeled it into a productive force for achieving her goals.
Quotes
“All in all, I’m one tough cookie.”
“As ifffffff ! Trust the adults to complicate matters !”
“Welcome to claw city, bub.”
“I’m not, like, 12 years old or something !”
“Whoah ! Raging ! Am I dealing or what !”
DC Universe History
Rina would be a good addition to the Batman Beyond universe.

Speculation and flukes
Stepping beyond the actually observed, Jay has speculated that the following was likely for Rina : Thief (Locks and Safes, Stealth): 06, Language (Greek), Systemic antidote: 02 . Sébastien has also observed she behaved a bit like her bones were unbreakable, but that wouldn’t change much in terms of stats.
Rina has also been observed once actually shearing matter with her psychic claws, which she’s not supposed to do. We chose to write it off as a freak occurrence.
