Wonder Woman
(Kingdom Come version)
Context
This capsule profile is specifically about the version of Batman (Bruce Wayne) that appears in the landmark Kingdom Come graphic novel. It was mostly intended as DC Heroes RPG stats and additional details for people who have read the story.
Published in 1996, Kingdom Come takes place in a possible, dystopian future of the DC Universe.
Powers and Abilities
Diana’s powers stem from her background and training among the Themyscirans. Although she has been stripped of her title of Princess, she still retains her abilities and most of her equipment.

History
Wonder Woman was once a true innocent, uncomfortable in the Man’s World. My, how times have changed. By the time of Kingdom Come, Diana is a true warrior and has embraced much of the violent ideology of the “Man’s world”.
At approximately the same time Superman went into seclusion, she was stripped of her title. this came after a trial during which it was decided she had not fulfilled her primary duty of changing the outside world.
Diana returned after the destruction of Kansas to encourage Superman to return to the world, and to lead the new Justice League. She viewed the current state of the world as a war, and led a brutal attack against the new breed who had escaped from the Gulag.
After the events of Kingdom Come, she returned home to Paradise Island. There she again faced an inquisition of her beliefs, and this time was re-instated as Princess. She established an academy on the island to teach the survivors of the Gulag about Amazon philosophy and principles.
At some later point, she also became romantically involved with Superman and conceived his child. In the timeline of The Kingdom, their son Jonathan is pivotal in defeating Gog and gains the ability to move freely through Hypertime.
Description
Diana has aged little by the time of Kingdom Come, and is still as stunningly attractive as ever. Linda Carter never really even did her justice.
During the time of Kingdom Come, Diana wears a costume similar to her traditional attire, but with a skirt. When involved in the conflict at the Gulag, she wore a suit of armor designed to resemble a golden eagle.
Personality
During the events of Kingdom Come, Diana is angry, almost to the point of being disturbed. She carried a lot of anger for her rejection by the sisters of Themyscira, and channeled that toward the outside world in the form of violence.
After the events of Kingdom Come, Diana has once again regained her legendary balance and peace of mind, although she can still be a very effective warrior.
